Wesley was the personal bodyguard and servant of the King of Assassins, Arobynn Hamel, and lover to the courtesan, Lysandra. Aelin says she and Wesley didn't like each other very much but it is later revealed that he did care after Sam's death. He also tried to stop her from going to avenge Sam because Celaena didn't know she had been betrayed and Wesley tried to prevent it from happening. He avenged Sam Cortland's death by killing Rourke Farran, and is killed by Arobynn Hamel because of this. Before his death, he wrote a letter to Aelin and asked Lysandra to give it to her. In his letter, he wrote about all of Arobynn's plans, including Sam's death and Aelin's capture. Lysandra says Wesley felt bad and was planning on getting Aelin out of Endovier, before he was killed.
